A Dark Cloud
There is a dark cloud on the horizon. It has existed for thousands of years.
It went away after the flood, but it has returned.
Generations have seen it but the world ignores it.
They do not notice that it is closing in from every direction.
It represents all the evil, hatred, bigotry, persecution, dishonesty,
Deceit, greed, intolerance, immorality, and other such traits in humankind.
It is growing rapidly and getting darker. It is approaching now.
It is noticeably so much darker. Yet the world still ignores it. They are unafraid. Foolish.
There are some, baptized in blood, who see the cloud. They are anticipating its arrival with joy.
They are followers of the Messiah Jesus. They will not experience the coming terrible things.
They have warned the people of the world of what is prophesied in order that they too can be saved, their warnings are laughed at and ignored. They are called fools, and worse.
Just as the dark cloud arrives, a very bright, white cloud suddenly appears, it lingers momentarily and just as suddenly it is gone.
When it is gone, all the followers of Messiah Jesus are gone too.
The dark cloud descends. The Earth shakes violently. There is no light. So very, very dark…
